Part of our year-long centennial celebration of Shaw Nature Reserve, Nature in Focus commemorates the Nature Reserve’s first century of restoring Missouri’s native habitats, inviting visitors to see the world through the lens of talented photographers. These images capture the story of discovery, change, and nature’s timeless beauty. Each photograph offers a glimpse into the rich ecological tapestry preserved and studied since Shaw Nature Reserve began in 1925.
